WELCOME TO MORGAN'S SUPREME BEINGS!

Chapter Six

GODDESS of SELF SATISFACTION

Ah, she is a jolly one,
saving us in difficult times,
adding even more joy to the good ones.
She is powerful and strong,
and we feel very good in her clutches.
She keeps us from foolishness with others,
and keeps us in touch with the divinity
of our body-temple.
Green-haired one, be praised!

THE GODDESS
OF SHARED POWER

Written by Elizabeth Frux (educator):

When I look at THE GODDESS OF SHARED POWER
in the early morning light
I feel the strength of women
especially since she effortlessly holds a horse
in the palm of one hand.
Other times I feel her serenity
and see the beauty in her face.

THE GODDESS OF SKIN

How miraculous is our outer layer,
protecting us, holding us in and out,
giving us problems and curses,
as well as much pleasure
we would not want to do without.
There is much that goes on just
outside of our skins,
energies that combine into sizzling harmonies
or nasty discords.
Touch carefully, often and with ease.
The colors of our skin can build
tough barriers around us,
there is much to be contemplated
and discussed,
but keep touching me while we talk.

I am the goddess of Southern California -

The Goddess of Sweet Poetry
homage to Walt Whitman

written by Dina Friedman (writer and teacher of writers)

I pray to her in the dark
I pray to the book she holds in her hands
empty wind in my breath
I pray by the tree that has fallen into the river
Fill these spaces
with words
with the fire swarming out of your third eye
Burn truths into the book of our ancestors
Let words be our survivors, our legacy

GODDESS OF THE AURORA BOREALIS by Mia Barkan (artist, therapist, weaver)

Aurora Borealis

I hover
glisten
sparkle and
mystify northern skies.

My magic dust
is a glowing secret
for only a chosen few
to discover.

My icy
hands glitter
caress and soothe
soul's windows.

My amethyst breath
dances stardust and light
an ancient heavenly sway,
a hypnotic trance
answering all questions
offering harmony
and understanding.

My powdery fingers
tickle stones
with delight,
kindle tiny opals
giving those a taste
who don't know
what I am.

I tempt and lure you
by my gentle whisper
to come and discover
my luster
my beauty
my northern lights.

THE GODDESS OF THE BLACK HOLE GREETS YOU

Here I am
There you are, with Nothing In Mind.
Nothing but Me.
So here's how it is:
When you least expect it, I'm closing in.
In dreams, in extremity,
in every preposterous science and circumstance
wherever explanations fail.
That's me, closing in, advancing from behind
the great orbiting telescopes
That's me heading your way
riding the back of Kundalini Snake, riding Danballah Wedo.
Sometimes I catch a ride in your direction
to bring you back to your non-senses
to stage a gentle abduction, if you will
just so you can say
I've taken you right to the Edge of things...
Out There, In There,
to the Sky of No Stars.
My other Name is Impossible Distances
or you could try me at When All Else Fails.
Some address me successfully as
End of the Beginning.
Of course they've all failed to see
the actual scope of Nothing
and all the Negative Real Estate
of my providential Womb.
But you won't fail: when I come for you
The Visitation will be unmistakable.
And you shouldn't plan too far ahead
once you've spoken My Name.

By Jinn LaFayette - writer, small business consultant, and San Francisco Witch.
